Description

As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the preparation of our company's SEC quarterly and annual reports, financial information for different meetings, press releases, and additional financial information as requested.

Other key responsibilities will include stock administration and reporting, conversion of foreign subsidiaries financials to U.S. Dollars, and the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries and spreadsheets for financial close. You will work on complex reconciliations of various general ledger accounts for multiple facilities in multiple currencies, and review reconciliations prepared by other financial accountants.

This position also involves answering accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data. You'll have to prepare and review quarterly and annual audit schedules, review company departmentals to investigate, identify and resolve fluctuations or errors.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of GAAP and the analysis of financial data, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and mainstream office software. Strong self-management skills with the ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities are necessary, as well as a proven ability to balance attention to detail with broader time limitations.

This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field; a CPA is a plus. At least 3+ years of business accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing company. You should have an ability to build and foster effective business relationships with vendors, customers and other departments. Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical for success in this role.

The successful candidate will be prepared to work irregular and/or long hours that may include weekends and/or holidays, as business and financial reporting requirements dictate.
