The Logistics Coordinator executes, coordinates, and supervises the day-to-day operations in the storage barn and other site storage facilities, organization of boats and unites in the barn and lots, receiving processes for new storage boats, supervising any crew members active in the storage barn, and safe handling and maneuvering of boats in and out of storage. The Logistics Coordinator must possess excellent organization, communication, and practical boating skills to effectively communicate and collaborate among departments to achieve company-wide goals that support storage, sales, and service. Ensuring safety of company property, personnel, and customer property is the utmost priority for the Logistics Coordinator.

R ESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Utilize available applications (e.g., Lightspeed, Boatcloud) to organize storage units and schedule launches and stows.

  • Maintain cleanliness of the facility and customer property.

  • Ensure barn staff are in compliance with company policies regarding safety and processes.

  • Interdepartmental collaboration to achieve broad objectives across the facility.

  • Ensure proper maintenance and inspection of facility equipment (e.g., tractors, forklifts)

  • Oversee and perform training for staff on specific tasks, jobs, and processes.

  • Work intimately alongside the dockmaster to ensure all storage operations including fuel, rental boats, and storage operations are running smoothly.

  • Ensure safe movements of customer property.

  • Liaise with General Manager to solve difficult problems and accomplish broad goals

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Anything else needed or asked upon.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Marina Forklift Certification with demonstrated operating proficiency.

  • Minimum one year management experience

  • OSHA Certification

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

  • Demonstrated leadership skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Valid driver's license and MVR record meeting company standards
