The overall purpose of this position is to provide support to the operations of the business by completing facilities maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately. We are seeking 2 Full time associates for this hourly position with the following 2 shifts available with additional hours/days needed during peak seasons.

Monday through Friday 7:30AM to 4PM

OR

Sunday- Thursday 7:30AM to 4PM

Essential Functions:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Routinely clean warehouse and tile flooring by utilizing the necessary equipment and chemicals. Also maintains adequate inventory of supplies needed.

  • Maintains and cleans the drains of all receiving docks.

  • Routine cleaning of floors and walls within the Distribution organization.

  • Assists with painting various locations throughout the building.

  • Repairs minor floor defects.

  • Routinely conducts visual inspections of all equipment within the department or warehouse.

  • Inspects and replaces light bulbs throughout the building.

  • Conducts Inspection Checklists for all Fire Extinguishers and Exit Lights.

  • Utilize various pieces of equipment, including forklift, WAVE machine, etc.

  • Routinely conducts visual inspections of offices and ceilings for damaged or stained ceiling tiles, non-working light fixtures/bulbs and replace as needed.

    Work Environment:

    This position operates in a warehouse and cooler environment (34 degrees), as well as outside grounds. The employee is frequently exposed cleaning products and water. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as electric or manual pallet jack, forklift, Wav, etc.

    Physical Demands:

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching and crouching. The employee must frequently lift/and or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Previous Facilities Maintenance experience preferred.

  • Detail oriented.

  • Good interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to multi-task

  • Demonstrated ability to drive, participate in, and adapt to change in a positive manner

  • Fork Lift & WAVE Certification (or the ability to participate in training to become certified)
