Philips Fraud Investigator in Shanghai, China

Your challenge

As an Investigator in Group Legal Compliance team, you will participate, actively lead and contribute to the investigation activities in your area (Asia) for the team to be the world class innovative Investigation function. You will lead complex and sensitive investigations, and support initiatives for Legal Compliance to transform with the company, anticipating on its changing risk profile. You will interact with senior management to address sensitive matters and trends, enabling management to consider appropriate actions.

Your responsibilities

You are part of the Group Legal Compliance - Investigations team, with offices in the Netherlands, Panama and China. Your responsibilities include:

·Lead and drive multiple complex fraud investigations in your area of responsibility (Asia).

·Write clear and concise English reports for investigation findings and report outcome to the local and global senior management.

·Document findings and conclusions in line with the prescribed tools and methods.

·Responsible for the entire documentation and reporting of the fraud report in line with investigation procedures and systems.

·Interact and engage with senior stakeholders in the Area while successfully drive sensitive processes.

·Identify risk trends in your area and translate into learnings and solutions, sharing best practices and facilitating the risk owner and business manager to take decisions on the remediation plans.

·Actively supports global anti-fraud initiatives.

·Your work location is the China (Shanghai).

You're the right fit if you have:

·Minimum Bachelor degree (law or equivalent, accounting, finance, economics).

·At least 8 years of experience in a similar position, with evidence gathering and investigative techniques.

·Knowledge of the legal system and understanding the language of the legal community.

·Understanding of business information and financial reporting systems, accounting and auditing standards and procedures.

·Proven experience of effective managing (timely completion) multiple complex tasks and senior stakeholders (locally and globally).

·Proven experience of excellent interviewing and report writing (English) skills.

·Excellent communication and influencing skills, consistent and balanced behavior and lead by example.

·Experienced with data analytics (in excel and Forensic tools).

·Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and with team spirit.

·Thrive on working in a dynamic environment; have passion on investigations.
