Job Title: Regional Sales Manager, East China
Location: Shanghai, China
Reports to: National Sales Manager
JOB SUMMARY:
Develop and execute a sustainable route to market strategy for the company’s business development in assigned region.
Lead regional sales team and distributors and top accounts to achieve business targets.
Develop and improve regional customer base to build up effective and qualified distribution network including distributors / cities / channels. Identify and prioritize strategic POSs across the region.
The distribution network will assist in launching and distribution of the business in China.
JOB DUTIES:
Develop and build up effective and qualified distribution network in Prestige retail / Traditional trade and Wholesale channel, achieve the annual sales revenue budget and SGM target in assigned region.
Build and maintain the qualified business network with different channels and distributors levels via conducting annual business plan, POS plan, daily operation, business review to ensure the target distribution, coverage and the best in-store execution in terms of pricing / display / assortment & promotion.
Develop and manage regional sales force. Provide coach and feedback to the team. Develop sales staff’s competencies.
Work with Trade Marketing Team in setting up various marketing activities including new product launch, promotion, in-store fairs etc., continuously improve consumer journey and in-store experience.
Work with Sr. Sales Manager, Brand/Trade Marketing and other cross functions to have yearly AP & CF plan, review and track the plan with best ROI.
Upgrade local market information and provide constructive suggestions to the company.
Work closely with Supply Chain and Functional support teams to have the good forecast plan and service rate.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
University degree or above
Minimum 8 years’ experience in well-known light luxury / premium consumer goods / durable consumer goods, multinational company
Strong Field Sales management and distributor mode management experience, knowledge and skills
Relationship and knowledge with shopping mall’s commercial department
Regional management (more than 3 provinces in China)
Sales or Marketing emphasis preferred
Sales Management Functional knowledge:
Route-to-market strategy planning including pricing.
Experience in preparation of budgets, forecasting etc.
Assortment management
Distributor selection/management
Brand owned store management / skill is a plus.
Project management skills
Leadership in leading sales team
Sound analytical skills and acute attention to details
Self-starter and able to work independently
Ability and desire to multi-task
Fluent verbal and written English communication skills
