Amazon Senior Program Manager, Trustworthy Shopping Experience in Shanghai, China

Description

We are looking for an experienced program manager to lead our regional efforts in China. You will improve WW product quality by implementing products, policies, tools and technology innovations to protect customers. You will partner with numerous Amazon teams including Global Selling Business, Policy, Product teams. You will be the primary point of contact for China leadership on complex product quality and you will improve the way Amazon protects customers from product quality issues.

This is an opportunity that requires a critical thinker with strong problem-solving,data analytics and communication skills. At the core of the position is passion for protecting Amazon’s reputation and the customer experience and trust.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain key relationships with internal stakeholders locally and around the world

  • Partner with Legal, PR, and Investigations to quickly handle and resolve critical challenges.

  • Create policies, strategies, and processes to protect buyers and enable business growth

  • Dive deep into data to find patterns for the challenges that buyers face while shopping on Amazon.

  • Conceptualize and launch large scale programs to resolve buyer issues.

  • Track program progress and provide visibility to leadership.

About the team

The Trustworthy Shopping Experience Asia Global Selling (TSE AGS) team strives to ensure the long-term success of AGS Sellers on Amazon by facilitating global business scaling. Our mission includes safeguarding customer satisfaction by verifying the authenticity and quality of products on the platform. We prioritize upstream product compliance and safety, informing sellers about relevant laws and regulations during onboarding. Additionally, we work to enhance customer experience by addressing safety, quality, and order defects. Collaborating with business and partner teams, we develop CN-first solutions applicable globally. We also engage with regulators, law enforcement, and consumer forums to communicate Amazon's commitment to a superior experience for both sellers and customers.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Strong data analytics skills, including advance excel and SQL.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (in English and Chinese)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, operations, regulatory, risk management or related field.

  • Excellent organizational skills with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting

  • Demonstrated skill and passion for problem solving

  • Penchant for process improvement to mitigate risk and deliver a positive customer experience

  • Ability to make decisions even in ambiguous situations

  • Experience working independently, autonomously and collaboratively
