Basic Function / General Description:

  • Senior level PM with mature project management skill, aim to drive critical/Top priority projects as well as directly manage the communication with sr. leadership team.

  • Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

  • Solid experience in a Program-project structure and play a key PM role in managing and leading project managers towards a program goal.

  • Solid experience in large scale new development project/program management.

  • Solid stakeholder management skills, drive and develop high performing program team.

  • Expert in IoT domain as well as Agile/SAFe project management process and practice.

Duties, Responsibilities & Authorities:

  • Manage IoT program/portfolio and provide guidance and support to project managers to ensure high performance and productivity. Hands on to manage key IoT projects directly when needed.

  • PM team leadership, support PMO manager to continuously drive high performing culture, people oriented and result driven.

  • Maintain influential communication with senior leadership team, program/project stakeholders, and x-functional head.

  • Mature business acumen, deep understand business case and portfolio strategy.

  • Mature program reporting and presenting skills through all level of leadership review and program tracking.

  • Lead the project management process standardization to provide a globally aligned visibility on project delivery progress.

  • Ensures qualification of project managers of the area with regard to project management and compliance with PM methods.

  • Be accountable for leading and tracking program/project portfolios with regard to FTE, budget and strategy.

  • Supports resource managers with regard to capacity planning. Presents current capacity planning in the area and identifies bottlenecks.

  • Resilient, patience and smart in program conflict management. Critical thinking with strong can-do mentality.

Accountability & measures:

  • Senior level Stakeholder management and program team development.

  • Program and project management process improvement.

  • Product Line leadership from PMO and Engineering perspectives.

  • Complete the assignment on target with respect to quality, time, and cost.

  • Support PMO leader to achieve departmental objectives.

Work experience & skills requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science or related.

  • Minimum 10 years of complex project/program management experience. Must have IoT project management experience.

  • Minimum 3 years of large scale program management experience or played a critical senior level program manager or team leader role.

  • Experts with deep practical know-how and experience of Agile/SAFe project/program management processes, systems and tools.

  • Creative, self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and influencing communication skills.

  • PMP certificate is a must. SAFe/Agile certificate is preferred.

  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor or above, Electrical Engineering, Computer science or equivalent required.
