Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Buyer in the manufacturing industry located in Shawano, Wisconsin. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining purchase order accuracy, tracking deliveries, and resolving invoicing issues. This role will also involve working closely with operations and finance teams to ensure efficient production needs.

Responsibilities:

• Place and maintain purchase order accuracy within Oracle.

• Confirm timely delivery of all orders to the supplier.

• Expedite orders as required, and track their delivery.

• Address any invoicing issues promptly and efficiently.

• Place purchase orders for necessary tools, supplies, raw materials, and production suppliers.

• Collaborate with Operations to ensure proper supply/inventory levels are maintained for efficient production needs.

• Arrange for the return of defective material and coordinate with suppliers for replacement.

• Collaborate with the finance team to resolve any invoice problems.

• Support all other related procurement initiatives, including stores' management.

• Assist with the creation of the item master as needed.

Skills:

• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions.

• Experience with IBM AS/400, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suites.

• Knowledge of Buying Processes and Component Selection.

• Strong Customer Service skills.

• Experience in Manufacturing and Oracle Procurement.

• Familiarity with Purchasing Activities and Purchasing Functions.

• Ability to Manage Vendor Relationships effectively. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Buyer role within the Manufacturing industry

• Proficient in using ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions

• Knowledge and experience with IBM AS/400

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites

• Ability to use 'About Time' software

• Solid understanding and experience of Buying Processes

• Skilled in Component Selection

• Excellent Customer Service skills

• Experience in Purchasing Activities and Purchasing Functions

• Ability to Manage Vendor Relationships

• Previous experience with Oracle Procurement software is a plus
