What you’ll do:

This role will be responsible for embedded software development, implementation, and validation for power electronics products and platforms. This individual will also be responsible for driving the use and adoption of model-based techniques during the NPI process. This includes using model-in-the-loop (MIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) methodologies during the design and validation.

" • Architects and designs robust embedded software for power electronics products and platforms

• Develops embedded software on a Digital Signal Processor (DSP) in C/C++ language for real-time control

• Implements, tests, and troubleshoots embedded software

• Plans and performs embedded software development and validation on Hardware-In-Loop (HIL) and lab

• Creates technical reports and presentations

• Initiates and leads design reviews and technical discussions, including brainstorming "

Qualifications:

"• BS in electrical engineering or computer science or equivalent."

"• Minimum 8 years of related engineering experience in the development of embedded software for power electronics products "

Skills:

"• Strong skills in embedded software architecture and C/C++ programming

• Knowledge of real-time operating systems, digital signal processing, and digital control

• Experience with DSP, microcontrollers, and standard peripheral components

• Familiarity with development tools such as compilers and debuggers

• Working knowledge of Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) HW and SW

• Working knowledge of auto-code generation tools (e.g., Simulink Coder) "

"• Experience working in diverse cultural situations with global customers and team members

• Demonstrated knowledge of engineering processes

• Ability to learn new skills, technical knowledge, products, or industry

• Strong written communication and verbal communication skills
