JOB DESIGNATION

The Configuration Management Supervisor oversees and supervises the daily activities of the Design Engineering Document Control personnel and material compliance personnel (REACh, PFAS, etc.).

JOB CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

· Supervises the technical documentation life cycle from development, maintenance to destruction including documentation and specifications relating to Product Design

· Coordinates and directs the document control team to ensure compliance with department requirements and industry regulations

· Oversees the document control processes and records management systems to ensure compliance with best practices and company policies

· Oversees the creation and maintenance of Engineering BOM based databases of materials for monitoring and reporting of material compliance requirements, such as REACh

· Strong interpersonal skills; acts as an expert on issues of increasing complexity

· Leads and directs work for team of employees as defined by business needs

· Manages staff selection, performance, development and training processes to ensure team competencies and capabilities to reach the business goals and expectations

· Other responsibilities as assigned

· The primary duties of this job require management of business or department, supervising 2 or more full time employees (or equivalent). Responsibilities include hiring and firing subordinate employees (or effectively recommending such decisions), interviewing, selecting, and training employees; setting and adjusting rates of pay and hours of work; directing employees’ work; maintaining production records for use in supervision; appraising employees’ productivity and efficiency for recommending promotions or other changes in status; handling employee complaints and grievances; disciplining employees; assigning work among employees; and providing for the safety and security of the employees. · Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and additional hours as necessary.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Education: A bachelor’s degree is required with relevant experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.

Years Experience: 5+ years of experience in Data Management and/or Compliance

· Thorough technical understanding and experience with document control life cycle

· Strong interpersonal and team management skills to enable the creation of a highly capable team

· Knowledge of industry regulations pertaining to aerospace processes Able to read, write, and speak English

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex information to others

· Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and database management tools

· Proficient with Product Data Management applications

· Proficient with ERP systems

Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations. Pay Range: $94000 - $150000
