The Cigna Group Business Analyst in Singapore, Singapore
The incumbent will formulate and define system scope, objectives and requirements base on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
Critical Tasks and Expected Contributions/Results
Involve in new product discussion from initial till the implementation of the product.
Facilitate discussions with the business to gain a deep understanding of their current processes and document the necessary rules and enhancements.
Conduct “AS-IS” business analyses, produce fit-gap analyses, identify business users’ pain points and propose solutions with “TO-BE” business processes.
Analyses integration between modules and interfaces with other systems.
Elicit and document business/user requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications.
Plan and participate in co-operation sessions with stakeholders and manage requirements by continuously clarifying and reviewing them via prototype walkthrough with stakeholders.
Serves as the intermediary between the technology and business teams, facilitating the development and implementation of backend.
Work with the technical/development teams and stakeholders to plan and participate, coordinate and monitor progress, and acceptance of UAT.
Analyses requirements to drive the design or review of test cases/business model/processes.
Write test scripts, perform System Integration Test and support users for UAT.
Collaborates with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyse trade-offs between usability and performance needs.
Support integration and user acceptance testing of defect fixes, enhancements and on-going releases.
Assist in tracking and reporting of project progress, issues and risks to ensure deliverables are on track.
Assist with internal configuration work as needed (Demo set up, Foundation, QA configuration support, etc.)
Analyses, troubleshoots, and helps resolve issues encountered during testing and post-implementation.
Qualifications / Skills / Experience Required
Minimum 5 years of experience in Insurance industry
Understanding of Health Insurance is preferred.
Possesses full technical knowledge of most phases of systems analysis, in consideration on the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
Skilled in analysing and documenting complex business processes
Strong experience of writing requirements specifications for information systems
In depth understanding of the principles, methods, techniques and tools of change process management and the relationship to project management and business improvement
Strong understanding of systems and ability to assimilate and interpret advice from technical specialists
A sound understanding of the software development lifecycle
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Collaborative Strong task management skills
PC literate - solid knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Basic HTML, Javascript or logic app (Data Hub) scripting
Good time management and able to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
Self-motivated with strong sense of ownership
Ability to plan, align, and collaborate business insight and balance stakeholders.
