Position Summary:

Commercial Excellence plays a pivotal role in leading commercial business initiatives to drive growth through improved efficiency and standardized practices. This encompasses various work streams, including sales planning and compensation, sales enablement, sales intelligence, and sales reporting. Additionally, the Commercial Excellence function serves as the Project Lead for various strategic organizational, process, and selling initiatives, aiming to achieve or exceed Thermo Fisher Southeast Asia & Taiwan’s annual revenue, growth, and profitability targets.

As the Manager of Sales Force Efficiency for Southeast Asia and Taiwan, you will be instrumental in driving sales effectiveness and efficiency across the region. This role, based in Singapore, demands a top-tier professional with a profound understanding of sales operations, strategic planning, and cross-functional teamwork. The primary areas of oversight and responsibility include handling CRM, Business Analytics, develop important metrics, Field Communications, and Key Account/Channel Sales Initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the unique markets of Southeast Asia and Taiwan, ensuring alignment with regional objectives.

  • Collaborate closely with regional sales leaders to optimize sales processes, drive efficiency, and enhance overall sales effectiveness.

  • Implement performance management systems and Key Performance Indicators (important metrics) to supervise and evaluate sales team performance.

  • Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth, providing actionable insights.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment and collaboration on sales initiatives.

  • Facilitate communication and coordination between different departments to streamline processes and achieve common goals effectively.

  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to gather insights into market trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities.

  • Use market insights to advise strategic decision-making and drive sales growth in the region.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability in sales operations/commercial excellence, preferably in the Southeast Asia and Taiwan region.

  • Proven track record of driving sales effectiveness and efficiency in a regional or multinational environment.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and provide actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams with varied strengths and cultures.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales automation tools.
