Job Purpose and Impact

The Foodservice Lead - HORECA Business for SEA will lead and oversee all aspects of the company's foodservice operations, with a particular emphasis on chocolate and indulgence products in the bakery and HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant, Café) channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth, profitability, and set strategic directions, ensuring the delivery of exceptional quality and innovative product solutions tailored to the QSR (Quick Service Restaurants) channel and beyond.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement the strategic business plans to enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency throughout the company’s operations.

  • Oversee the sales, marketing, and operational activities, ensuring the business achieves its sales targets and profit goals.

  • Lead market analysis and segmentation efforts to identify and capitalize on new opportunities within the HORECA and bakery channels, focusing on chocolate and indulgence product categories.

  • Forge strong relationships with key industry players, including suppliers, customers, and partners to ensure a robust supply chain and customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with R&D and culinary teams to innovate and develop new product offerings, aligning with market trends and customer preferences.

  • Assist in the strategic planning and execution of sales strategies into the QSR channel, leveraging market insights, end-user data, and unique product applications to drive growth.

  • Manage and mentor the team of 12 full-time employees, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, legal, and regulatory requirements in the industry.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of six years of related work experience

  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 12 years of relevant industry experience, with a proven track record in the foodservice sector, especially in HORECA and bakery channels.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and large-scale operations. - In-depth knowledge of the chocolate and indulgence product categories, with a keen sense of market trends and consumer preferences.

  • Exceptional business acumen, with a history of achieving or exceeding business objectives and profitability goals.

  • Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, market analysis, and execution of successful business strategies.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, capable of influencing key stakeholders and fostering partnerships.
