Citigroup Lead Software Engineer (Low Latency Trading), SVP (Hybrid) in Singapore, Singapore

Citi ICG Technology organization is looking for a senior technology lead in the APAC Equities Electronic Trading team. The person in this role will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of Citi’s next gen low latency trade execution platform in APAC. The senior engineer will lead a local team of developers and collaborate closely with the product development team, other technology team, production support, and quality assurance. Close alignment with the global strategy is very important for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, development and support of the low latency trade execution platform

  • Partner with traders and clients on product development and improving application latency

  • Continuous maintenance & improvements of the testing frameworks, development tools and environments.

  • Ability to envision, design and implement test cases for trading functions.

  • Contribute towards Agile and Continuous Integration processes

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience with Strong technical knowledge with expertise in either Java, C#, C++ Previous experience in developing automated trading platforms.

  • Strong understanding of automated testing techniques.

  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and Continuous Integration processes.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, set goals and meet deadlines.

  • Strong communication skills with a demonstrable ability to present & grasp complex concepts in a multicultural environment is required

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
