A Day in the Life

  • Develops and implements cross company capital equipment business strategy for diverse markets across Asia Region

  • Working closely with country teams, identifies opportunities, and develops new programs to expand portfolio presence and market share gain.

  • Assesses need for the addition of new selling programs and processes, conducts competitive analysis, and implements relevant strategies and solutions

  • Cooperates closely with Strategic Accounts, Service and Repair, Marketing and Finance teams for complete cross Medtronic value offering in capital equipment portfolio to our customers

  • Develop, collaborate and maintains strong relationships with all commercial teams and relevant functions to support selling, market development, service efforts and clinical programs.

  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with key customer stakeholders among the Strategic Accounts within the hospitals across Asia Region

  • In cooperation with SAM team closely monitors the greenfield projects across Asia Region and defines clear opportunity pipeline for Medtronic capital equipment portfolio

  • Support and coach commercial teams on the technical aspects of the organization's products and services; on marketing campaigns and sales promotions; and on sales techniques, procedures, and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant sales experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience

Your Profile

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in business development, business management, and sales management in capital equipment

  • Sales process experience of big capital equipment CapEx (+/> 250K USD)

  • Must have experience dealing with verity of stakeholders, incl. Clinical, C-Suites and Biomed

  • Proven experience in developing strategy and business growth plans

  • Good influencing/people management skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Great communication skills in English

  • Regional business experience is an advantage
