About the role
Experienced Commodity / Account Management & Strategic Sourcing professional. Establishes sourcing goals and acceptable service levels. Responsible for negotiating and administering contracts and analyzing price proposals to enhance price, quality, timing and reliability of supply.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll be responsible for:
Participates in negotiations for the procurement of goods, services, and supplies.
Executes purchasing and / or other commodity management activities.
Manages contracts in accordance with sourcing goals and acceptable service levels.
Analyses price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to help determine reasonable prices.
Research suppliers to ensure that the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply are met.
Researches and consolidates buyer/market profiles to ensure database is administered and kept up to date.
Requirements

As a minimum you must have:
Degree in Engineering related courses with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Experienced in HVAC/manufacturing/electronic & electrical in MNC background is an advantage.
Good communication and presentation skill.
Familiar with MS Words, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
Familiar with BAAN LN system.
Able to commit to working hours of different time zone when required.
