Amazon Program Manager Intern, Amazon Global Selling in Singapore, Singapore

Amazon is seeking a passionate and motivated Program manager in Singapore for the Amazon Global Selling business. The PM intern will dive deeper into data and drive initiatives across multiple domains, to support business teams in bringing local Sellers to sell globally and resolve critical business challenges.

The ideal candidate should be able to deal with ambiguity, display problem-solving skills and work independently. They deliver results within tight deadlines, identify key milestones of projects, and show excellent communication skills working with global cross-functional teams to drive issue resolution in a quick-paced setting. Most importantly, they deep-dive into data to provide data-driven insights to assist with team-wide strategic decisions.

Key job responsibilities

  • Understand Seller pain points and gather business requirements to create innovative solutions for Sellers to launch at scale on Amazon marketplaces worldwide.

  • Closely work with business teams to develop and implement products/programs to identify customer needs and create mechanisms for increased operational effectiveness.

  • Analyze, visualize, and produce data reports to identify Seller trends, validate strategic directions, and provide business insights to AGS leadership and business teams.

  • Identify areas of possible improvement to drive product improvement and program implementation to meet local business team needs.

  • Support business teams in complex issue resolution, including driving effective escalations and influencing international, cross-functional teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree

  • Expected graduation from May 2025 onwards

  • Able to commit to a full-time internship from July to December 2024

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in developing requirements and formulating business metrics for reporting, familiarity with data visualization tools, e.g. Tableau

  • Define and develop business critical metrics and reports across all business levers, key performance indicators, and financials

  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and insights and present written business recommendations to the leadership in a clear and compelling way

  • Analyze and solve business problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context
