The Global Clients Program (GCP) organization at LinkedIn is responsible for managing our largest enterprise customers for our Talent Solutions business. We are currently looking for a Senior Sales Manager of APAC Global Clients, who will be responsible for leading a team of all the Global Client Directors for APAC and Regional Client Executives for our Talent Solutions business based out of Singapore, Australia and Japan to grow and manage relationships with our most strategic global customers across the region. The role will report to the APAC Director of Global Clients Program of Asia Pacific and will be based in Singapore.

You will play a key role in being the trusted advisor of the high performing strategic sales team, architecting and driving business changes, and operating with the highest of ethical standards. Your team will be responsible for the global books of Asia HQ Global clients and regional books in Singapore, Japan and Australia of NAMER & EMEA HQ Global clients. They will also be responsible for learning the entire suite of LinkedIn’s Talent Solutions, understanding how they are used and valued by customers, and making compelling recommendations for additional investments and renewals in LinkedIn to help them achieve their business goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a focused sales strategy to renew, drive increased penetration and expand the bookings for our Global Clients Enterprise.

  • Directly manage the day-to-day operations of the Global clients team with the ability to grow and scale, as necessary. Manage and coach team in all aspects of the sales cycle to ensure customer and member satisfaction.

  • Be directly involved with the mentorship and development of the team including hiring, training and compassionately performance managing Global Client Directors & Global Client Executives & Regional Account Managers.

  • Lead from the front as Business sponsor for key clients in the region, personally engaging with CXOs in clients to drive business success and growth

  • Drive a culture of forecasting excellency across the team and similarly prepare and present accurate sales forecasts to senior management.

  • Build relationships with our top clients at the C-level and engage in strategic conversations to advise and transform their businesses through LinkedIn’s solutions

  • Lead team to expand and develop global account footprint through upselling and cross-selling, identifying and closing new multi-million dollar transformational deals.

  • Prioritize initiatives, create focus for the team and hold them accountable to the use of systems, tools, sales process, and methodology.

  • Ability to build and foster strong cross-functional partnerships.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define segment strategy and lead high impact initiatives to fuel new growth areas.

  • Lead, motivate and develop the team to build a best-in-class Global Clients team who consistently bring value to clients.

  • Think and execute globally when working with clients and team, collaborating effectively with both your internal and client teams to drive value.

  • Develop the next generation of leaders by modelling our culture and values and defining excellence in account leadership, negotiation, customer relationship building, mentoring, and coaching.

  • Demonstrated commitment to building diverse teams and fostering an inclusive team culture.

*Basic Qualifications: *

  • 12+ years of experience working with Large Enterprise customers or Global clients, and an understanding of the needs and challenges large enterprise customers possess

  • 7+ years of leadership experience building and leading sales team, including a track record of developing consultative selling strategies for enterprises

  • A results-oriented leader who energizes and inspires the team to achieve goals

  • Proven track record in driving growth and exceeding sales targets year on year

  • Team player, Cross-functional partnership, account team, solution selling, team selling environment experience

  • Experience of engaging with clients at the C-level and building executive relationships at a global capacity

  • Strong oral/written communication skills and negotiating skills. Excellent client management, presentation skills and collaboration skills

  • Experience working in fast-paced and high-growth environment, with the ability to adapt quickly to changes

  • Strong customer focus and have experience with value-based selling

  • Work experience in a matrixed and global environment, collaborating with regional and global stakeholders.

  • Experience with managing and leading through change.

  • Ability to lead, coach and develop a team of senior sales professionals with experience who are working across diverse cultures with team members based across Japan, Australia and Singapore

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize key focus areas and to coach / direct team members
