Operation

  • Lead the team in day-to-day operation to achieve operation goals.

  • Handle shopfloor resources (people, machine, and materials) to meet daily operation plan.

  • Plan and complete weekly work order according to customer demand.

  • Responsible to report out team performance and provide on time solution on disruptions to shopfloor operation.

  • Establish strategy and standard methodologies to enable team to achieve department objectives. Translate annual department objectives into specific team and individual performance goals including important metrics, and to improve and review them regularly. Conduct root cause analysis and take appropriate corrective action promptly when goals are not met.

  • Plan, strategize and work on the movement of WIP (Work in Progress) and scheduled activities for maximum efficiency minimum idle time and maintain cell linearity balancing.

  • Handle employee relations and establish a psychological safe environment.

  • Review cross team support to fulfill production assembly plans.

  • Support department and cross team activities that delivers consistently high quality products and services in a safe, resources-efficient, and acceptable manner.

  • Responsible for all aspects of an emergency response (role of SIC) which includes developing incident objectives and handling the incident action plans.

Develop Capabilities

  • Work with Manager to identify relevant abilities, opportunity and capability within team.

  • Work with peers to improve team flexibility through cross training.

  • Develop training plan for team including induction, on-the-job training, and certification.

  • Develop, support and mentor team by giving timely and constructive feedback and empowering employee to own more responsibilities.

Quality

  • Conduct Gemba with purpose to identify problems and area of improvements and take vital action to address them.

  • Ensure safety, operation procedures, team and 5S are closely observed and adhered to across MA Instrument operation, complying to site’s EH&S and QMS policies/guidelines.

  • Participate/conduct and communicate manufacturing safety risk assessment.

  • Ensure documentation, data, and inventory accuracies.

Qualification and Experiences:

  • Degree in any engineering, field, fresh graduates can apply.

  • Diploma with any engineering field more than validated experience

Experience

  • Validated experience in supervisory position, preferably in Instrument assembly process environment

  • More than proven track record in shopfloor manufacturing planning will be considered.

Proficiencies preferred.

  • With strong sense of responsibility and ownership

  • Able to work under pressure and make sound decision independently.

  • Good supervisory skills such as leading, motivating and developing other.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong organization and leadership skills

  • Familiar with ISO 13485 and good manufacturing practices. enefits
