Your day at NTT DATA

The Vice President, Service / Product Offer Management is a senior leadership role, responsible for driving the service / product offer management strategy and its implementation and execution, ensuring that the relevant service or product portfolio is profitable, market leading and relevant to the target clients.

This leadership role motivates service / product offer innovation and provides thought leadership to internal and external client.

The Vice President, Service / Product Offer Management drives a culture of collaboration and innovation across their team with a focus on operational excellence.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops relevant portfolio strategies aligned to business strategy and fiscal ambitions.

  • Defines and implements the service portfolio and offer roadmap required to deliver business strategy and fiscal ambitions.

  • Assists with the creation of lean business cases to justify the incremental investments required to meet organizational financial goals.

  • Verifies, authenticates and determines portfolio ‘mix’ of investments to meet the fiscal ambitions of the organization.

  • Ensures the quality of service offer requirements for new service offers in portfolio and enhancements to existing service offers.

  • Ensures new service offers are prioritized according to business value and benefit to secure an appropriate allocation of development capacity.

  • Manages and ensures that profit and loss for assigned services offer portfolios with current revenues.

  • Maintains the relevant service offer catalogue, its contents and its evolution.

  • Interfaces with clients, industry analysts, vendors, regions, countries, territories to understand market requirements / opportunities / challenges.

  • Aligns the relevant portfolio to market opportunity (that is, changes required in terms of functionality, pricing and value proposition) and priority setting for service offer investments within organization's services roadmap.

  • Interfaces with relevant teams on offer definitions, offer costing and pricing (pricing strategy), sales readiness and offer launch.

  • Reinforces and assists with relevant enablement (that is, workshops/webinars/training/collateral) for the assigned portfolio in collaboration with Service Design and Development teams.

  • Outlines, implements and manages the lifecycle of service offers that deliver positive business outcomes for clients and supports business growth strategy.

  • Manages and motivates team members to deliver against the service offer strategy and objectives.

  • Drives a culture of collaboration and innovation across the team with a focus on operational excellence.

Knowledge and Attributes:

  • Substantial strategic planning and execution abilities.

  • Evidence of developing a global product offering in liaison/ coordination with cross functional teams.

  • Demonstrates strong client focus.

  • Substantial knowledge of IT services, outsourcing and infrastructure markets across all verticals.

  • Ability to share vision, energize and enthuse teams to follow.

  • Ability to identify and prioritize strategic growth opportunities, anticipating emerging business trends, make decisions and drive initiatives through to conclusion.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to build consensus amongst many stakeholders; be comfortable with ambiguity.

  • Ability to thrive within high pressure, complex, fast paced environments.

  • Ability to lead multi-cultural and geographically dispersed virtual teams.

  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills with our channels to market, third parties and internal delivery teams.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Science or Business or related field.

  • Relevant certifications such as Scaled Agile and ITIL are beneficial.

Required Experience:

  • Substantial experience in a similar leadership role preferably within an IT services organization.

  • Substantial experience in defining and managing product strategy.

  • Substantial experience in transacting outsourcing solutions within the global IT Services market

  • Substantial knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs.

  • Substantial experience managing services / product offer teams.
