In this role, you drive pricing, revenue optimization and top-line growth of customer services in the zone by acting as a business partner to customer services commercial leader and being a custodian of Commercial Policy.

Your team

The role reports to the Zone's Head of Health Systems.

You work closely with customer services commercial leader and sales teams, zone finance, legal and marketing functions.

Job Overview

  • Ensure integral equipment and service commercial offers are negotiated within the Commercial Policy guidelines

  • Ensure price governance in accordance with Commercial Policy

  • Ensure that commercial terms reflect performance and strategic fit while driving execution of annual contract indexation with commercial service team and minimizing value leakages over full contract lifetime

  • Support equipment and service price setting and portfolio decisions

  • Translate BUs and Region service strategies into zone service pricing strategies and tactics

  • Drive pricing decisions to balance value extraction and profitability throughout the customer life cycle

  • Drive daily management and continuous pricing and profitability performance improvements

  • Coach sales teams in value-based pricing

  • Design and implement pricing dashboards and deep-dive reports for managerial reviews and operational deep-dives

  • Moderate discussions between Business and Zone on commercial topics to secure a BMC handshake on price positioning and portfolio strategies

  • Price realization improvement on Equipment and Service

  • Zone’s adherence to service contracts indexation policy

  • Integral Equipment and Service top-line and profitability

  • Compliance to Commercial Policy

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or business administration with minimum of 8 years of experience

  • Financial management/analysis experience preferred

  • High analytics skills with a creative mindset

  • Key advisor / decision maker to business decisions as part of the leadership team

  • Intercultural fluency, project and change management skills

  • 8 years of experience in B2B business which covers services strategy and/or health systems is a plus

  • Proven ability to succeed in a highly dynamic matrix organization

  • Strategic key account development is a plus

  • Advanced Microsoft Office and Power BI user, preferably SAP and QlikView knowledge

  • Experience with salesforce.com is a plus

  • Certified LEAN basic is a plus
