Job Description

Spherion Staffing has a temporary Tech Support position available for a local company. This position provides software support, customer service, and problem resolution across all products for clients running Software in single and multi-user environments.

Pay: $14.50

Hours: Initial hours for training for the first 2-4 weeks will be 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. and then thereafter, individuals will be moved to either a 7-4 or 9-6 shift or could remain on 8-5 as well.

Part time 10:00 a.m.- 2 p.m. will be considered.

**Attendance is critical throughout the assignment but is mandatory during the 30 day training period (no exceptions are allowed)

Responsibilities:

  • Software support, customer service, and problem resolution across all products for clients running software in single and multi-user environments.

  • Provide first call resolution technical support to all customer calls regardless of product or complexity of the

problem

  • Deliver professional and top quality customer service to all customers.

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve calls

  • Demonstrate technical knowledge in areas such as Operating Systems, Software Utilization, DOS, and Windows

  • Analyze, identify, and recommend corrective actions to ensure problem resolution and customer satisfaction

  • Clearly and effectively communicate issue

  • Document all customer calls in customer resolution database

  • Identify trends or patterns of recurring issues or problems

  • Demonstrate teamwork through sharing knowledge, brainstorming complex customer issues with colleagues and proactively sharing common issue resolutions throughout the department and across locations

  • Submit common issues/bugs with their resolution in order to build & maintain the resolution database

Requirements:

-High school diploma

-1 year customer service work experience

-6 months call center experience

-Computer Science degree is preferred

-1 year in the cell phone industry preferred

-1-2 years of help desk or technical support experience preferred
