Alamo Group Inc. Territory Manager in Sioux Falls, South Dakota

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

I. Sales

  • Meet Sales goals for an assigned geographical area.

  • Responsible for supporting existing dealer accounts and prospecting for new dealer accounts within assigned territory.

  • Prepares and submits sales forecasts as requested for use in planning and managing dealer inventories.

  • Leverages SalesForce.com as a required planning tool for your sales territory.

  • Promotes Tiger products by assisting dealers with retail sales calls, demonstration of new products, and assisting with product support issues of Tiger product.

  • Responsible for parts sales, merchandising, and promoting aftermarket products for assigned area of responsibility.

  • Develops territory sales plan and budget annually.

II. Dealer Relations

  • Establishes and maintains a dealer channel for area of responsibility to achieve maximum sales results.

  • Acts as a liaison between the company and dealer organization to assure proper information is provided regarding product, pricing, accounting, credit, warranty, and other business activities with the company.

  • Ensures adequate repair parts are promoted and stocked by dealer.

  • Attends and supports dealers with trade shows and demonstrations.

  • Conducts product training for dealer personnel as required to grow sales and promote the Tiger product line.

  • Supplies dealer organization with promotional and advertising materials.

III. Product Support/Product Resolution

  • Manages technical problems or product support issues as they arise within warranty procedures and provide resolution for dealers and customers.

  • Reports new technical or product issues to technical support team at Tiger Corporation.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Good communication and negotiation skills.

  • Strong technical knowledge of either construction, agricultural, or municipal equipment.

  • Must be a self starter, has the ability to plan and organize their own work schedule.

  • Extensive travel (75%) and non-traditional hours.

  • Understanding of production processes, maintenance and equipment operation.

  • Technical College/Associates Degree (2 year degree) minimum.

  • College degree preferred.

  • At least 5 years sales experience.

  • Excellent driving record (Insurable)

Tiger Corporation is currently accepting applications to fill the position of Southeast Region Territory Sales Manager. This position will cover the states of FL, GA, AL, TN, KY, SC, NC, WV, VA.

Since 1968, Tiger Corporation, located in Sioux Falls, SD has become one of the largest manufacturers of industrial mowing equipment designed for roadside vegetation throughout North America. Tiger provides long lasting, durable rotary and flail type boom mowers, side mowers and rear mowing equipment.

In this position you will manage, direct, and coordinate efforts to grow sales and provide product support for Tiger equipment within the Southeastern states. You will help achieve annual measurable growth within the territory as set by the National Sales Manager. This position will conduct product training, control inventory and receivables within the territory and serve as a key link in company/dealer communication process.
