Role reports to: Senior Director, Risk Market Intelligence

Location: Kenvue ' s corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025.

Travel %: up to 10

Pay: Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $97,000 to $166,500 . This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.

What you will do

The Manager, Supplier Diversity and Sustainability is responsible for overseeing the company's efforts to achieve cultural diversity, including racial, ethnic and gender diversity. The candidate will also oversee the collection and monitoring of Kenvue suppliers ESG data and scores, from external data providers such as ECOVADIS and CDP.

The responsibilities of the Manager, Supplier Diversity & Sustainability include:
Lead, develop, and manage, in conjunction with Procurement Leaders, enterprise-wide Supplier Diversity category strategies to ensure appropriate identification, qualification, and inclusion of: existing diverse suppliers and introducing new diverse suppliers for participation in sourcing activities and long-term category business planning.
Develop, communicate and implement global Supplier Diversity category strategies using proven analytical methods and procedures.
Collaborate with global category managers to understand business requirements, performance and implement appropriate Supplier Diversity category sourcing management strategies, and to ensure consistent Supplier Diversity approach and reporting practices.
Identify, research, assess capabilities of diverse vendors to create supply base across a set of spend categories.
Contribute to key decisions and/or recommendations concerning Supplier Diversity category strategies including sourcing, negotiation, contract awards, and supplier management.
Identify and assess supplier diversity issues :
Create and maintain global, as well as regional supplier diversity program
Implement and enforce supplier diversity policies.
Encourage and support suppliers in developing their diversity capabilities.
Monitor the effectiveness of the program
Develop communication, training materials and pragmatic implementation tools, targeting procurement managers, suppliers, and other stakeholders .
Coordinate collection of data for workforce sustainability programs, including living wage, workforce nutrition
ESG data collection for sustainability reporting, Internal Audit, banks' risk assessments, and ESG benchmarking

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required
A minimum of 8 years of work experience
Experience working in Supplier Diversity and Sustainability programs within Procurement
Experience working in developing or delivering a responsible sourcing framework with suppliers, including topics such as Living wage, responsible material, etc.
Strong understanding of external ESG scores and assessment, such as ISS, Bloomberg, MSCI, CDP, Refinitiv, etc.

Desired Qualifications
Masters Degree or PhD is preferred
Ability to analyze data and visually present and communicate findings.
Creating, designing, building reports and implementing solutions. Ability to work with large amounts of information while still seeing the bigger picture.
Track record of successfully managing projects to completion including managing cross functional stakeholders/teams, business requirements gathering (e.g., identifying and mapping business needs to application capabilities), building, testing and implementing solutions.
Effective communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
Strong critical thinking and business curiosity, including advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, strong ability to work with complex and detailed data to drive insights and decisions.
Self-starter and able to work in teams and/or individually.
Proactive, result oriented, with a can-do attitude in meeting critical deliverables.
Experience with tools and application such as Excel/Google Sheets, Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects, or similar.
