Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Associate Director Respiratory Consumer Marketing in Sleepy Hollow, New York

Position Summary:

The Associate Director of Respiratory Marketing will contribute to the financial success of DUPIXENT and will report to the Director, Consumer Marketing Lead. The primary area of responsibility will be to develop and implement comprehensive Consumer Marketing plans across the entire DUPIXENT Respiratory/GI portfolio, along with preparing for future indication launches that will continue to build and drive demand for DUPIXENT in highly competitive markets. Specifically, this will include agency management, budget management, patient and caregiver education materials development and implementation, campaign plan development and implementation coordination with market research, consumer message and creative development and execution.

Job Duties:

• Contributing to and implementing a 1-3 year consumer strategy and tactical plan for the pre-launch, launch and post-launch periods across current and future indications

• Develop and implement a plan for optimal channel distribution for communication with patients with uncontrolled moderate-to-severe asthma and CRSwNP, and their caregivers (as appropriate)

• Build business cases for patient-oriented programs that contribute to sustainable brand growth

• Drive digital and social media strategies and partner to develop programs that reach beyond typical banner and paid search for accelerated brand awareness

• Create and refine innovative patient education materials and execute plans for dissemination of appropriate patient materials via physicians’ offices, email, direct mail, electronic delivery and other media

• Working closely with Consumer Marketing team as a whole to leverage developed programs, and insure consistency in programs, and branding elements

  • Develop innovative patient and caregiver focused unbranded and branded tools and programs (e.g., disease education information and materials provided to patient, patient support tools/programs to improve HCP and patient communication, branded patient education information and materials provided to patient).

• Create and refine innovative patient education materials and execute plans for dissemination of appropriate patient materials via physicians’ offices, email, direct mail, electronic delivery and other media

  • Work closely with Patient Advocacy to Understand patient organization landscape and develop patient organization & advocacy strategy.

  • Partner with Corporate Communications to develop and integrate public relations patient strategies and programs.

  • Working closely with our co-commercialization partner to ensure alignment of Consumer strategy and tactics across the alliance.

  • Manage budgets and closely monitor performance, ensuring cost effective delivery of all programs while tracking and monitoring KPI’s.

  • Understand and leverage trends in the marketplace impacting Consumer Marketing and competitive benchmarking to data driven strategic insights to inform of all patient/consumer marketing programs and tactics.

  • Provide support to the development of the overall brand strategy, functional plans and budget and ensures that patient-focused strategy and tactics are incorporated within the annual brand plan.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated competency in managing a consumer marketing effort both internally & externally for a product launch

  • U.S. Consumer marketing experience, with at least 3-5 years of experience in marketing, including launch experience

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with team members to develop and execute education programs and support materials

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently with team members and across departments to insure consistency and collaboration in strategy development and implementation of programs- Ability to create and implement patient RM stream- Demonstrated competency in media planning to ensure proper mix and optimization (media includes digital, social, mobile search, and general awareness print.)- Demonstrated competency in agency management and budget management- Demonstrated ability to implement health literacy principles to impact overall consumer communications platform

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently with research and development team members in transition of professional relationships to commercial point person in pre-launch and launch situationsExperience managing congress and conference related marketing activities

  • Ability to grasp complex scientific concepts, clinical data and simplify it

  • Strong interpersonal skills demonstrating emotional intelligence, both internally & externally

  • Self-starter and ability to work independently

  • Ability to manage given budgets according to the brand plan

  • Demonstrated ability to deal with cross-functional areas of the organization

  • Must be willing to travel 25-30% (including weekend travel as needed)

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree, MBA a plus

  • 8+ years of "progressive" industry/relevant professional experience; 3+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech marketing, product management, or related experience industry/relevant professional experience

  • Respiratory/Immunology experience preferred
