Job Summary:The Conveyable Loading position requires an associate to load cases onto a pallet and remove cases from the conveyors and palletize them to load them onto the truck. Conveyable loaders must be able to move at a fast pace, reading labels and identifying routes while handling cases without breaking them. He or she meets standard productivity goals daily and appropriately handles all materials following company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure workplace. Specific duties and responsibilities will be assigned according to the assigned workstation.Responsibilities: Competencies:*Accurately read route numbers and truck numbers to ensure the correct truck is being loaded*Accurately use the Company\'s logistics management system to make sure all cases are accounted for on the manifest*Ensure all loads are properly stacked, secured, and stable*Identify damages and safely clean up spills*Operate a hand truck and operate a motorized pallet jack*Safely operate conveyor line and properly shut it down in case of emergency*Keep appropriate records to guarantee inventory control, rotation of stock, and security are maintained*Assist with physical inventories as required*Assist in other doors or areas when necessary or assigned*Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner*Report in writing any safety or mechanical problems with the power equipment*Conduct operations and maintain the facility in a neat, clean, orderly, and safe manner*Assist in maintaining the security of the logistics*Perform other duties as assigned *Change*Professionalism*Communication*Relationships*Self-Awareness*Dependability*Time Management*Positive attitude*Flexibility*Results drivenQualifications: Critical Skills: *Must be18 years or older*Six months of experience in a similar position preferred*Experience in operating a pallet jack, forklift and other power equipment preferred *Strong attention to detail*Able to read, write, and perform basic math computations*Able to learn and use the Company\'s technology*Able to learn and maintain knowledge of company and products*Working knowledge of computerized hand-held devices*Inventory Control*Quality ControlWorking Conditions: *Able to maintain very high proficiency and job standards while working in a non-temperature controlled environment that includes exposure to heat, high humidity, and inclement weather*Able to work occasionally in refrigerated areas*Able to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise levels and some dust and fumes from power equipmentPhysical Requirements and Essential Functions, duties to be performed with or without reasonable accommodations: *Regular, reliable attendance required*Able to frequently operate a pallet jack and/or forklift if assigned*Able to stand and walk, reach with arms and hands, lift and carry, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel*Able to perform greater than average lifting (50-65 lbs) with some overhead lifting required*Must have specific vision abilities that include close vision, distance vision and the ability to judge distanceApproved By: Date:
