As expert you will bring a deep technical mastery of the process and equipment. That expertise allows you to lead the planning, process development and implementation of Planned Maintenance Elements in a Continuous Improvement manufacturing environment. You will manage this through teams consisting of various technical and non-technical personnel, key support contractors and operations personnel.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Track all standard work processes on site’s equipment using AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (progressive maintenance) standards and ensure that safety processes are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed.

  • Understand the losses in each area and equipment and report them.

  • Be responsible for using CMMS to plan all maintenance work performed.

  • Manage the life-cycle of Work Requests, PMI and PM Work Orders; and uses effective KPI’s and feedback methods to ensure a successful PM program.

  • Update standard work while monitoring job completion, and ensuring correct usage of CMMS by the Trades in order to complete work orders and transact in CMMS as required.

  • Be directly responsible for ensuring PM plans are scheduled and completed in a timely and appropriate manner.

  • Be responsible for ensuring compliance to governmental and corporate requirements.

  • Actively participate, support and ensure compliance with all safety initiatives within the manufacturing location.

  • Ensure the planning of all maintenance activities are performed taken into account constrains on safety, food safety, energy/water consumption at factory level by analyzing the potential impact of any variable (e.g. high risk activities, spare parts quality, materials, etc).

  • Facilitate the development of an effective weekly maintenance schedule in conjunction with Production Planning, Scheduling and the appropriate Maintenance, and Engineering colleagues.

  • Interface with key stakeholders internally and externally to align priorities in order to deliver the function’s & company objectives, and goals.
