Overall responsibilities

Oversees daily departmental activities of the MDR Finance Contractors in Switzerland.

Prepares analysis and evaluations of program results and prepares short- and long-range forecasts for all aspects of the program incl. Sourcing Co Charge outs. At this level the role has increased responsibility including, but not limited to, additional skills, multiple lines/products, diverse teams, etc:

  • Plans, allocates, and monitors the work of the EU MDR Contractors at site to support program and JnJ Financial requirements.

  • Supervises the MDR Finance contractors to ensure that they maintain the core responsibilities.

  • Organizes the workflow to Finance Manager, Workstreams, Platform DRIs & other stakeholder.

  • Coordinates activities of systems and processes to ensure that everything is in place to report financials timely and accurately.

  • Makes modifications as necessary.

  • Ensures Compliance throughout the program.

  • Reviews policies and procedures periodically and revises as appropriate.

  • Researches accounting issues that have been escalated and works to resolve any outstanding concerns.

  • Evaluates performance of staff and provides feedback.

  • Recommends salary increases, promotions and terminations.

  • Implements continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications

  • University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent

  • Professional Finance/Accounting qualification/education (CPA, CGA, CMA or comparable education)

  • Generally requires minimum of 4-6 years related experience in multinational Finance Environment

  • Proficiency in MS-Office applications, SAP-knowledge (FI-CO)

  • Team player and "can do" attitude; proactive approach and ability to anticipate;

  • "Out of the box" thinker; quick thinker/embracing change;

  • Strong analytical skills; Business Partner approach;

  • Good communication and collaboration Skills also in virtual/remote environment;

  • Ability to switch between very detailed and big picture; stress resistance/flexibility and sense for priority to handle tasks & deadlines;

  • Able to demonstrate values consistent with J&J CREDO

  • Experience with EU MDR, Workstreams, Platforms, strong in Business Partnering,

  • Experienced in tax as e.g. Sourcing Co charge out
