Description

We are in search of a Sr. Accountant. This role involves handling both accounts receivable and payable, inventory management and other accounting related tasks. The Sr. Accountant will process and manage customer payments, monitor bank accounts, handle invoice approvals, and manage accounts payable. This role also includes assisting in the month-end close.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the daily invoice tracker and depositing check payments from customers.

• Applying customer payments and monitoring deductions and dilution from payments for all sales accounts.

• Keeping track of past due accounts and following up for collection.

• Processing RA’s and Credit Memos and conducting ad hoc reporting on customer balances, style selling, margin, dilution actuals, and other management requests.

• Entering and properly coding invoices, managing and monitoring invoice approvals across company departments.

• Reviewing invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment and processing payments weekly.

• Assisting in Standard Cost Reconciliation Process and maintaining the Standard Cost Log.

• Managing prepaid and accruals.

• Assisting in sales tax reporting and management.

• Undertaking other ad hoc projects as they arise within the Finance department.

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience as an Accountant.

• Proven expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.

• Demonstrated ability in Inventory Analysis is needed.

• Requires proficiency in managing Prepaids and Accruals.

• Experience in Inventory Reconciliation is essential.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.

• Must be proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial.

• Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• CPA certification is a plus.
