DESCRIPTION OF WORK The primary role of this position is to provide comprehensive support for all information technology aspects within the facility, including hardware, software, and systems. This support extends to both networked and stand-alone equipment, multiple local area networks, and a wide range of hardware and peripherals. The complexity of this environment is further compounded by the diverse software applications, various platforms, and the need to meet security requirements for business, education, and corrections. Responsibilities of this position include systems administration, equipment and software installation and maintenance, user technical support, liaison duties, staying updated with current technology, managing software applications, and handling related duties and special assignments.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 60 or 65. One year as an Information Technology Trainee or Information Technology Technician; or One year of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, networking or desktop services, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or Three years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, networking or desktop services, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
