DESCRIPTION

Salary - $12.10 per hour

SUMMARY:The Golf Maintenance employee will perform general labor in Golf Courses and will assist with course maintenance.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED:Not applicable.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:This list represents the types of duties required by the position. Other duties may be assigned as reasonably expected.

  • Mow grass.
  • Trim trees.
  • Clean restroom facilities.
  • Unload tables, benches and chairs as requested.
  • Remove trash from designated park areas.

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs other tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty in a satisfactory manner. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience as a general laborer.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES PREFERRED:Working knowledge of City or County Government a plus.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:Valid Drivers License.

EQUIPMENT:Pickup truck, weed eater, hand mower, hand blower, riding mower, 2-way radio, and miscellaneous hand tools.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and walk, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk; use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move a minimum of 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required in this job include vision and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:Work will be performed outside. Noise levels can be quiet to moderately loud. Employee will work in various weather conditions which will include extreme hot or cold conditions.
