Insight Global Plant Operations Assistant in South Park, Pennsylvania

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking for 2 Plant Operations Assistants to join a client of ours in South Park Township, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the operation of a renewable energy plant to ensure safe and efficient energy production. This individual will report to the plant's project manager. The role will begin as a temporary 3 month position, but could potentially convert to a full-time role afterwards based off production.

The 2 candidates will be working in rotating shifts from 8pm-8am Mon-Sun. Schedules will be finalized before first day.

Responsibilities:

 - Monitor the operation of the plant using a dashboard

 - Conduct hourly inspections of equipment and systems to identify any malfunctions or abnormalities

 - Respond promptly to alarms or alerts indicating potential issues with the operation of the plant

 - Contact the plant's project manager to come troubleshoot any technical problems

 - Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment

 - Shut down the plant in the event of a serious malfunction or emergency, following established protocols and procedures

 - Communicate effectively with other plant operators and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and timely response to issues

Assist the project manager on site with ad-hoc maintenance and administrative tasks

Skills and Requirements

  • Experience overseeing operations of a plant, machinery, or related

  • Previous experience in general labor or related

  • Valid Driver's License and/or reliable transportation

  • Can pass background check and drug screening - Previous training or experience in energy, renewable energy, engineering, or industrial operations preferred null
