South San Francisco, CA / Genetic Sciences Division

How will you make an impact?

As a member of the Human Identification R&D group you will assist in the technical development of new products, evaluate new technologies and troubleshoot/improve existing technologies.

What will you do?

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams on product development projects.

  • Independently plan and execute experiments to test new assay formulations.

  • Critically analyze large complex data sets using scripts

How will you get here?


B.S. with 10+ years of relevant experience OR postgraduate degree (M.S or Ph.D) with demonstrated background in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related scientific discipline


  • Hands-on experience with PCR based assays

  • Extensive experience with PCR primer design software

  • Demonstrated programming/scripting skills such as Python for custom analysis of large data sets

  • Experience with statistical analysis software such as JMP is a plus
