We are looking for a Demand Planner and S&OP Lead to join our Refinish Coatings team in Southfield, MI.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving and continuously improving the Demand Planning and Forecasting process for the Automotive Refinish Coating business in North America G-ECR. The main responsibility of this role will be overseeing the demand and forecast processes within the business unit and driving improvements towards forecast accuracy. In this role, you will lead the Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP) process for the North America ECR business. This function is seen as a strategic interface between several business functions and the entire supply chain organization for G-ECR. This position reports to the Supply Chain Planning Manager G-ECR and will be based in our Southfield, MI headquarters.

As a Demand Planner & S&OP Lead, you create chemistry by...

  • Facilitating the monthly demand validation process utilizing SAP-APO Demand Planning functionality, generating forecasts, generating and tracking forecast accuracy metrics, as well as facilitating demand validation meetings with different functional groups like Marketing, Product Management, and Sales, to support the individual business S&OP processes.

  • Identifying and implementing process improvement and optimization in Demand Planning processes and generating various reports and KPls.

  • Leading the monthly S&OP process for ECR North America, driving collaboration across cross-functional teams.

  • Displaying your exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, support miscellaneous projects, as well as SAP related work in supply chain as needed.

  • Communicating effectively across the business, serve as the primary point of contact regarding all demand related inquiries for areas of responsibility. Additionally, you will manage a proactive business communication process that ensures visibility and transparency amongst all key stakeholders.

If you have...

  • Bachelors in Supply Chain Management or Business preferred. Will consider lesser education and 10+ years relevant expertise.

  • Experience in Supply Chain or business-related field (ex: Customer Care, Supply Chain, Product Management, Procurement, Operations, Production).

  • Excellent internal and external customer focus an interpersonal skills in all forms of communication.

  • SAP experience (APO preferred).

  • Proven experience in driving innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Strong experience and knowledge of digital tools, including Microsoft Office products (Excel, Power BI).

  • Strong analytical thinking capability and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
