Job Description: Our client is in search of a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of SEC Reporting and Consolidations to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in technical accounting, extensive knowledge of SEC reporting requirements, and a proven track record of leading successful consolidation processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and filing of all SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations.

  • Manage the quarterly and annual financial consolidation process, including reviewing and analyzing financial statements for multiple entities.

  • Lead the implementation of new accounting standards and offer guidance on complex accounting matters.

  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate the audit process and address any audit-related inquiries.

  • Stay abreast of emerging accounting pronouncements and assess their impact on financial reporting.

  • Develop and uphold strong internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) to safeguard the integrity of financial data.

  • Mentor and provide guidance to team members, nurturing a culture of continuous learning and development.

  • Support ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as required.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA license mandatory.

  • 9 or more years of progressive experience in accounting and financial reporting, ideally within a public company.

  • Strong technical accounting skills with a comprehensive understanding of US GAAP and SEC regulations.

  • Experience with consolidation processes and financial statement preparation.

  • Ability to articulate complex accounting matters to non-accounting stakeholders effectively.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with acute attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; familiarity with Workiva and SAP preferred.

  • Demonstrated leadership prowess with a history of building and motivating high-performing teams.
