Exciting Opportunity: Senior Mechanical Designer Needed!

Our client, a global leader in providing innovative industrial automation solutions and systems, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer to revolutionize manufacturing processes.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in tooling fixture design and a passion for pushing the boundaries of technology.

Job Title: Senior Mechanical Designer

Location: Southfield, MI (Hybrid work model)

Pay Range: $ 30-32/hr

What’s the Job?

  • Design and develop tooling fixtures for body shop applications using Siemens NX software.

  • Ensure precision and compliance with design specifications and industry standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize design solutions for maximum efficiency.

  • Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for emission control systems.

  • Support the manufacturing process by troubleshooting design issues and implementing necessary changes.

What’s Needed?

  • Solid experience in tooling fixture design within the Body Shop domain.

  • Proficiency in Siemens NX software for mechanical design.

  • Knowledge of sheet metal design , plastic injection molding, and HVAC systems.

  • Solid understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
