Summary About the position: This position is located at The Lounge, Club Eifel, Spangdahlem AB, Germany. Flexible position, 0-40 hours per week, days, nights weekends and holidays, Monday - Sunday. Responsibilities The Primary Purpose of this position is to mix and serve pre-mixed alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages from a limited service bar. Prepares and serves a limited variety of alcoholic drinks: mixed drinks, beer, wine and soda. Receives payments, operates cash register, sets up bar, prepares cash funds documents. Stocks, cleans and maintains bar area and equipment. Performs other related duties as assigned. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Knowledge of mixing alcoholic beverages for retail sale, including knowledge of correct proportions and mixtures, and recognizing intoxicated patrons and resolving the problem. Must be able to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons. Follow cash handling procedures. Must meet the appropriate minimum age, 21 years of age, requirement for working with and/or serving alcoholic beverages. Must be able to communicate clearly with customers and possess skill in dealing with the public. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.
