The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for providing Human Resources leadership and partnership to the Spartanburg Leadership Team to attract, develop, retain, and engage the highest quality team members. This role will be expected to plan, organize, and execute activities and actions within the HR department, while developing HR department goals, objectives, and systems. The HR Manager will be a member of the site leadership team, while reporting directly to the Vice President of Business Unit Operations – Spartanburg. This is a critical leadership role aiding in the launch of our Next Generation Delivery Vehicle Program for the United States Postal Service.

YOUR IMPACT:

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

  • Support the business unit/functional area by promotion, communicating, and implementing HR strategies and initiatives.

  • Build and maintain influential relationships by being a strategic partner through leadership and team member advocacy.

  • Provide HR consultation and support to the Spartanburg team.

  • Consult with leadership in the strategic planning process and development of HR strategies that support business needs.

  • Lead strategic people processes, including but not limited to succession planning, talent reviews, and performance calibration.

  • Support leadership assessments and development.

  • Utilize data sources, such as employee engagement survey and HR systems, to influence decisions.

  • Influence and partner with HR Centers of Excellences to provide services that benefit stakeholders.

  • Act as an expert on HR policies and procedures such as payroll, staffing, benefits, compensation, team member development and talent acquisition.

  • Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of team member work results through leadership training and coaching.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.

  • Eight (8) or more years of relevant HR experience.
