HP Inc. Supply Chain Operations Mergers & Acquisitions Project Manager in Spring, Texas
The Supply Chain Organization builds relationship with HP Customers, Suppliers, and Partners by understanding operational business models and developing solutions to improve HP interlock with other functions in the Merger & Acquisition environment.
Applies supply chain knowledge to solve business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Leads the development of new ideas and methods. Drives solutions to complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads cross-functional teams and acts as the supply chain expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
You will be part of the Supply Chain Transformation and Resilience organization; a global team of highly engaged and capable colleagues supporting the organizational charter.
Responsibilities -
Work with HP’s corporate Mergers & Acquisitions team
Develop and manage the supply chain workstream
Participate in core team meetings, create, and provide weekly updates and program tracking
Determine the E2E supply chain implementation approach and plan to fully integrate/onboard the new company
Work to define requirements and drive development, testing, training, and implementation to ensure a smooth and timely transition and onboarding
Responsible for identifying, establishing, and onboarding required supply chain subject matter experts
Develop and track budget of M&A activities for funding and cost relief
Define and manage the project timeline
Manage and coordinate supply chain SME workstream deliverables
Key Skills-
Relevant M&A/MADO experience from operations environment
E2E knowledge of Supply Chain charter
Proven ability to interlock with cross functional teams to ensure proper integration (IT, Sales Ops, Finance, HR, BU, etc)
Ability to think out of the box and apply agile methodology is key
Ability to work independently and manage cross functional teams
Proven ability to structure and lead definition of Supply Chain scope and execution
Excellent communication, cultural, and organizational change expertise
Proven ability to adapt to changes and unexpected turns with agility; ability to recognize the need to change direction and quickly pivot to the new plan; role model for how to effectively respond to change and help others adapt as well
Fluent English proficiency
Education and Experience Required-
First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
Typically 6-10 years of experience in a supply chain function.
Typically has experience designing and/or implementing supply chain projects within a large business unit.
