The Office of Public Works, Garage Division is seeking an individual to educate the public including businesses, nonprofits, faith-based organizations, and neighborhood associations on the importance and benefits of trees. Create a corps of volunteer Tree Advocates within the City, placing priority on neighborhoods with low tree equity. Serve as a liaison between the Office of Public Works and the community regarding tree planting and tree maintenance with a focus on neighborhoods with low tree equity. Develop an outreach program for marginalized neighborhoods and conducting educational programs. Supervise temporary arbor seasonal workers.
