This position serves as a Front End Development Analyst performing difficult and specialized professional work in IT web applications services. In this role you will coordinate, conduct, plan, analyze, evaluate designs, develop, test, document, implement, and maintain average complexity applications/websites on-site and at user facilities using designated software/programming language for the database design, program design, and the supplied support tools for testing the new application/processes while utilizing the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). In addition you will serve as a project lead on average complexity projects, across multiple agencies and locations and serve as a developer on smaller projects/assignments. This position also serves as a team member participating in the evaluation of new application/website requests and related technology to anticipate the probable impact on future and current information systems.
Essential Functions
- Under general direction, serves as a Front-End Development Analyst for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) performing difficult and specialized professional work in IT web applications services.
- Serves as a project lead on average complexity projects, across multiple agencies and locations and serves as a developer on smaller projects/assignments.
- As a team member, participates in the evaluation of new application/website requests and related technology to anticipate the probable impact on future and current information systems.
- Serves as support for applications/websites and provides user support for assigned applications/websites.
- Keeps abreast of new developments in the Information Technology (IT) field by continuing education through attending meetings, training sessions, seminars, and conferences to increase familiarity with and remain current on products, vendors, techniques, and procedures.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
