WTW Lead Cloud Systems Engineer in Springfield, Illinois
The individual will design, develop, and integrate existing and new IT infrastructure, standards, processes, and services.
Design solutions for the Benefits Accounts Acclaim SaaS platforms which leverage automation, standardization, security, high availability, and growth capacity.
Perform vendor analysis and road-mapping to ensure technologies leveraged for the Benefits Accounts Acclaim platform remain under support, secure, and allow for growth and efficiencies.
Interface with other areas of the enterprise to facilitate a DevOps process and organization.
Capacity management of mixed storage system environment.
Installation, configuration, performance turning, and troubleshooting of Linux environments and products.
Installation, configuration and administration of systems monitoring products.
Work closely with information security personnel to identify and resolve security concerns.
10 plus years of experience in an IT systems support role
Highly technical and analytical, possessing 7 or more years of IT implementation experience
Strong understanding of RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and RedHat Satellite Server (RHSS)
Experience with VMware ESXi and vCenter products. VMware NSX is a plus.
Configuration management using Ansible and Terraform.
Strong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment.
Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Microsoft Azure
Experience managing data center operations, including data assurance, monitoring, alerting and notifications.
Disaster Recovery systems design and planning.
Excellent communication, problem solving, planning, and analytical skills.
Must be able to carry up to 35 pounds unaided in support of hardware installations
Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) a plus
Kubernetes and/or Docker management
Microsoft Windows Active Directory
