POSITION TITLE: ORDER HANDLING SPECIALIST
REPORTS TO: SUPERVISOR, ORDER HANDLING

Vacation: 2 weeks of vacation per year (pro-rated for the first year depending on start date). 5-12 years of service, 3 weeks. 13+ years of service, 4 weeks.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position works closely with various internal departments to ensure accurate information is received from the customer, allowing orders to be entered into SAP and in some instances procured from an external supplier. This position requires strong communication skills working with multiple internal and external office personnel. These skills are needed when communicating order status changes or verification of order processing.
Main Responsibilities:
Entering, releasing, and updating orders in SAP
Purchasing parts from external suppliers via PO creation in SAP
Responding to incoming customer emails and inquiry tickets
Contacting customers via phone and email
Working with Internal departments on customer solutions and follow-up
Working in a team environment
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION: 2-year college degree or high school diploma plus relevant work experience.
Experience : Minimum of two years experience in the customer service field. OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to multitask between multiple computer screens and programs
Typing skills of 50 wpm or better
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of SAP or equivalent business systems
Positive attitude and true willingness to help our customers
