Landscaper

PeopleReady of St. Catharines, ON is now hiring Landscapers! We are seeking motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as Landscapers. As a Landscaper, you will work alongside our client's onsite leads to ensure the successful completion of various landscaping projects. You will be working across the Niagara Region at both commercial and residential sites. While not required, it would be considered an asset if you have your own vehicle.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $17.21 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Landscaper:

• Follow health and safety policies and procedures ensuring a safe work environment

• Operation of various equipment (lawn mower, trimmers, etc)

• Watering/Tending to plants 

• Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants

• Loading/offloading landscaping materials and tools

• Transporting soil/dirt/rocks

• Maintain work area(s) and end of shift cleaning

• Planting trees, shrubs, etc

• Other duties as assigned 

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 1st shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Excellent physical fitness with the ability to lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs

• Own personal pair of CSA Green Tab steel toe boots required

• Exposure to various weather conditions

• Ability to work within a team or independently as needed

• General understanding of customer service, principles and practices

• Access to own personal transportation preferred but not required
