About the role

Our Sydney Buildings team is currently looking for a proactive BIM Modeller to join the buildings group. This position is aimed at someone who has proven Revit experience working on building projects. We are looking for modellers with experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic or fire protection services.

You will have opportunities to work on major projects predominantly in the data centre, defence and health sectors. You will be joining an established, multi-disciplinary BIM team using industry best practice software. You will be supported by national and international digital engineering and automation teams, fostering innovation

This position is suitable for someone looking to grow with a professional and supportive team.

Day to day tasks would involve:

  • Prepare documentation using predominantly Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, BIM360 and other software and platforms.

  • Undertake a range of multi discipline design detailing duties related to our building services projects to provide a technical service to internal and external clients.

  • Execute drafting work within time constraints to a professional standard.

  • Adhere to professional standards, ethics and Stantec quality procedures.

  • Contribute to our Company culture.

To be successful for this role you'll need:

  • Have previous experience working in a Design Engineering Consultancy

  • Technical proficiency in BIM Modelling, drafting and building design coordination.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or with a background in electrical contracting.

  • A desire to continue development in the Revit/BIM Design package space.

  • Able to do troubleshooting issues with BIM models.

  • Organisational skills to prioritise work with the team to meet business and project delivery needs

  • Ability to work independently once set a task

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
