Parsons is looking for a Expert Systems Engineer Engineers to assist in leading engineering teams in taking a multi-discipline approach to requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resilience, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability and analysis in support of the National System of Geospatial-intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-intelligence (ASG) and Federal Agencies to ensure timely, available, and accurate GEOINT.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Deliver full life-cycle systems integration and engineering services to meet the missions of its customers.

  • Provide subject matter expertise using the Safe Agile Development Process, develop solution epics (SE), program epics (PE), and minimum viable product functions (MVPf) to enhance details for rolling 2-year long-cycle plan development and systems modernization

  • Assist in the development of technical performance measurements, success criteria, and test criteria in coordination with external Government and Industry partners.

  • Support transition efforts to effectively deliver operations-ready capabilities as well as knowledge transfer to transition team. Transition support shall include coordination of site deliveries and installations, guidance and oversight of developer deliveries; and support to cross-office, interagency, and inter-department transition engagements.

  • Assist the Government in the capture of mission and customer requirements/needs and translation into systems/capability requirements and solutions.

  • Assist the Government integrating multiple systems, services, processes, and interfaces within a Major Systems Acquisitions (MSA) across organizational and agency boundaries.

  • Guide and coordinates the work of Senior, Mid, and Junior-level Systems Engineers.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in a related hard science STEM field such as engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems with 18+ years of experience.

  • Expert-level demonstrated experience in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or system engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments.

  • Demonstrated experience with cloud-based technologies and the deployment of tools within cloud-based environments for optimization. Demonstrated experience with MBSE processes, tools and languages.

  • Demonstrated experience with DevOps processes and tools including JIRA, Confluence, and Tableau.

  • Active TS/SCI is required and able to obtain a polygraph

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Doctorate degree in Systems Engineering or in a related hard science STEM field such as, engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Geographic Information Systems, or Geodetic Sciences or in project management or engineering management.

  • Expert-level demonstrated experience in geographic information systems, geodetic sciences, or related fields.

  • Certified as an INCOSE System Engineering Professional (CSEP) or DAWIA Practitioner (formerly level II or III) in Engineering Technical Management (ETM) or certified Scaled Agile Framework Agilist (SA).

  • Expert-level demonstrated experience with NGA Foundation GEOINT data domains and mission areas.

  • Expert-level demonstrated experience with NGA Process and tools, to include System Engineering, Acquisition, Configuration Management, Readiness and Security.

  • Expert-level demonstrated experience working with the DoD or DNI Major Acquisition Systems Milestone Review process.

Salary Range:

$117,000.00 - $210,600.00
