We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for our production foundry - located in St. Louis City. This is a 1st shift position, 4:30AM to 1:00PM). We are looking for an individual with a minimum of 3 plus year's industrial maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. Emphasis on Electrical Maintenance with General Preventative Maintenance, HVAC and Conveyor System Maintenance experience included. Candidates who move forward in our process will have an initial qualifying interview followed by In-Person combined verbal Electrical and Maintenance general knowledge exam and have a facility tour. If you pass the Electrical and Maintenance exams, and are interested in our company, an offer may be presented within 72 hours. Our pay scale - $27.00/hour to $32.00/hour, based on skills and knowledge. Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Observe, test, and assess the operations of machines to detect cause of malfunction

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs and preventative maintenance as required

• Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, lubrication charts, wiring schematics

• Examine equipment components for indications of excessive wear and defects

• Repair, replace, adjust, and align machinery and equipment components using basic power hand tools, specialized tools, welding torches, lifts and hoists.

• Clean and lubricate machines

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with company procedures, rules, and regulations

• Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates

Qualifications:

• Strong working knowledge of 480v circuitry, can interpret schematics, and use electronic testing equipment

• Knowledge and troubleshooting of 3 phase motors, motor control circuits, VFD's, and servos

• Rebuild and repair of electric motors

• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing a plus

• Experience working on conveyors, screen conveyors and shaker systems

• HVAC and boiler knowledge - including core-less induction furnaces (1000lb and 1500lb)

• Deadline and detail-oriented

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 2 hours at one time

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
