Shipping:
- Determines method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
- Data entry to include posting weights, shipping charges and invoicing.
- Assist with boxing or packaging and labeling of products to be shipped.
*REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: *
- 1-3 years experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- 0-2 years purchasing experience (preferred not required)
- Highly motivated self-starter.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Regular attendance is required; punctual, dependable.
- Interpersonal skills and friendly attitude
- Ability to work overtime or second shift when required.
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instruction and written processes.
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; frequently required to talk or hear, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms. The employee must lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
