Join our Cardiology service line in this position as an Advanced Practice Provider! The Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for providing both inpatient and outpatient services. In the inpatient setting, the APP works as a team with the attending cardiologist to perform and staff initial consults, subsequent follow up visits, and to coordinate patient care. In the outpatient setting, the APP will see patients independently in the cardiology clinic. Outreach clinic may also be expected.

Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
Current BLS certification.
Current ACLS certification.
Current DEA certification (verified during credentialing process).
Physician Assistant requirements:
Currently licensed as a PA with the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
Approved by Minnesota Board of Medical Practice for prescription writing privileges (verified during credentialing process).
Nurse Practitioner requirements:
Currently licensed as an APRN by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
Experience as an independently practicing APP.
Cardiology or clinic experience as an APP.
