Why Consider This Job Opportunity The Senior Implementation Engineer is responsible for deploying, implementing, and maintaining an in-hospital wireless patient monitoring system and remote patient monitoring service center while meeting security requirements. This position will lead technical customer site evaluations, vendor qualification, applications and system integrations, EMR integrations, security reviews, network evaluations, deployment/installation procedures, application/server maintenance/build for cloud-based server deployment, and deployment/maintenance record documentation. The Senior Implementation Engineer will also manage the technical help desk and managed cloud service vendor for 24/7 customer support. What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities) Lead the implementation and administration plans, processes, and procedures that ensure successful system implementation at hospital customer sites for a wireless patient monitoring system. Work closely with the technical operations team in distant locations as well as IT consultants. Configure cloud environments that meet the information security standards for the customers including VPN connectivity. Deploy Vios Monitoring System (VMS) and validate operations in the hospitals. Document the deployment and maintenance records. Responsible for analysis, design, development, validation testing, support, and maintenance of application EMR integration, including HL7-interfacing and infrastructure supporting mission-critical clinical EMR data systems. Lead the coordination, design, system validation, and go-live EMR integrations that will require various HL7-compliant ADT/OBX/ORU in/outbound messaging interfaces. Integrate the product to cloud-based EMR systems such as PointClickCare. Ensure the Vios Monitoring System and Remote Patient Monitoring Services stay updated with the latest US-based security standards. Ensure system architecture is designed in a manner to mitigate risk around disclosure of ePHI. Conduct information security and IT reviews for in-patient physiological monitoring systems and field security with IT-related questions. Ensure the production and test environment meet the regulatory requirements as well as the cybersecurity guidelines for headquarters. Propose cost-conscious infrastructures for the up-scale technical operation process while meeting all security and availability requirements. Miscellaneous Job Responsibilities Support setting up and maintaining the Product Development team's environment in AWS. Manage Technical Help Desk and Managed Cloud Service vendors for 24/7 customer support. Be on call for the dedicated days/times for non-standard customer technical support. Maintain IaC for the secure and repeatable infrastructure deployment (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) with a Managed Cloud Service Vendor. Manage MDM profiles and deployment processes (e.g., Samsung Knox). Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, and Sales to resolve technical barriers for new customers and sales opportunities. Provide guidance and oversight to the development team and clients for EMR integration best practices. Enhance the customer experience as it relates to implementation and technical support. What Is Required (Qualifications) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent. 10 years of related experience including demonstrated technical expertise in hospital environments and EMR integrations. AWS C rtified Solution Architect (May also be achieved within 6 months of employment). Fluent in Linux operating system/bash. Industry-recognized networking certificates such as MCSE or CCNA. Customer-focused, results-oriented, and self-motivated. Commitment to upholding the highest level of professionalism while supporting technical discussions for a wide range of personnel from security analysts to C-Suite execs. Project management, team collaboration, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. Organization, attention to detail, and documentation skills. How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) 15+ years of related IT experience including demonstrated technical expertise in hospital environments. EMR integration, systems deployments, commercial go-lives, and information security domains. AWS certified solutions architect, SysOps administrator, or DevOps engineer. Terraform code development and/or Cloud Formation Template development. Experience conducting large-scale enterprise patient monitoring device deployments in a complex and/or highly distributed environment (preferably within a large healthcare provider or hospital system environment).
